TVS Launching Its First Electric Two-Wheeler and BS-VI This Financial Year

TVS Motor Company’s first electric two-wheeler is not yet spied recently most probably the new e-scooter will be based on the Creon concept. TVS Motor will be bringing in the BS-VI compliant motorcycles into the domestic market before March 2020. Because the BS-VI emission standards are coming into effect from April 1, 2020.

TVS Motor is going to push BS-VI for all the models by the last quarter. The sales dropped in the entire two-wheeler industry in the last five to six months, Where TVS is ready to face during this festive season.

 

The central government has put a deadline to stop manufacturing and selling of IC-engined three-wheelers before 2023 and 2025 for two-wheelers of up to 150 cc engine capacity. TVS Motors has invested a lot of money in electric vehicle technology. The company would launch an electric two-wheeler this financial year without commenting on more details.
