Tamo Futuro, new performance sub-brand, limited production sportscar from Tata Motors.‘Tamo Futuro’ will be launching at the Geneva Motor Show next month. Just weeks ahead of the car’s debut at the Swiss show, the company has released a new teaser of the car.
Also onboard will be a connected vehicle technology suite based on Microsoft’s Azure cloud computing platform.
It has a very impressive power-to-weight ratio. due to the chassis construction is design/ developed by Marcello Gandini (an Italian car designer ), who designed iconic cars like the Lamborghini Miura & Lamborghini Countach. According to some report, this man is behind the Tamo Futuro’s chassis construction.

Tamo Futuro Specifications:
- A mid-engined sports car
- 1.2-litre Revotron turbocharged petrol engine.
- 180 BHP.
- The massive power-to-weight ratio of 225 BHP/ton. Ferrari 208, 2014 Porsche 911 Targa 4 996 have similar power to weight ratios.
- Kerb weight is 800 kg.
- Mid-engined set-up with rear wheel drive layout.

The Tamo Futuro gets very balanced weight distribution. Tata will use a lot of aluminum &composite plastic ( but not carbon fiber components ) to keep the weight and Price in check.
