Mahindra has confirmed its launch of electric two-wheeler for the Indian market during the company’s annual general body meeting.
This product will be completely made in India. Mahindra has an electric two-wheeler called GenZe 2.0 which is for the US market. This electric scooter hasn’t made its debut in India due to its high price.
Mahindra & Mahindra- Chairman, Anand Mahindra says:
“We are watching this space. We have some plans up our sleeve. We will have a locally manufactured two-wheeler.”
Mahindra is also focused on introducing electric two-wheelers to the Indian market. Due to EV rule by the government.
GenZe 2.0 specifications:
- Top speed: 30 mph (48 km/h)
- Torque: 100 Nm (73 ft-lbs)
- Charge time: 3-4 hours.
- Range: 30 miles (48 km)
- Battery capacity: 1.6 kWh (52V 30Ah)
- Charger: Built into the battery, 500 W 110 VAC.
