KTM India launched the 2017 Duke 390 with BS4 compliant engine in last month. But 2016 KTM Duke 390 comes with a BS3 engine norms.
With launch of 2017 KTM Duke 390, People stopped buying 2016 KTM Duke 390 on top of that the sales of BS3 engine compliant vehicles were banned by Supreme Court from 1st April, This effected the manufacturers and dealers as stocks of 2016 KTM model started to pile in depo.
Recently, We heard from the nearest KTM India dealers, who were not able to sell their BS3 model before the 31st March 2017, as per supreme court order. but dealers are now selling them at more discounted price.!!!
Is this possible to sale banned BS3 vehicles????…
- The catchy thing is they are selling this bike in Second hand!! that too with 0(zero)KM on the odometer.
- How this is possible??— On paper these are not new bikes as they are already purchased by the dealer.
- 2016 KTM Duke 390 is just INR 1.6-1.7 lakh including all taxes and 1 year insurance- On Road price(Depending on the dealer).
If you want to buy Duke390 and don’t want to wait 2-3 month for 2017 duke 390, just go 2016 Duke 390 which is almost 1-lakh cheaper than 2017 Duke 390.
