The middleweight naked motorcycle, KTM 790 Duke is expected to launch thein India soon. The bike has already begun to reach dealerships. The KTM 790 Duke will be brought in the country via the CKD – (Completely Knocked Down) route. The bike will be available in limited numbers. The KTM 790 duke streetfighter will be available across India for a reported price of Rs 8.5 lakh (ex-showroom India). The KTM dealerships across India have confirmed that the bike has started reaching the outlets and is expected to be launched between September 5 to 10.

KTM 790 Duke is powered by 799cc, liquid-cooled, the parallel-twin engine. The motor produces 105bhp of max power at 9500rpm and 86Nm of peak torque at 8000rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quick shifter and gets a slipper clutch. The motorcycle gets cornering ABS, lean-sensitive traction control, launch. The bike gets wheelie control along with riding modes that include a ‘Supermoto mode’. The bike weighs 169kg (dry).
KTM 790gets a 43mm WP open cartridge fork and a 12-stage WP preload-adjustable mono-shock. The braking is taken care of by front twin 300mm discs and 240mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS. The motorcycle gets four rider modes Sport, Street, Rain, Track come as standard.
