Japanese bike maker, Kawasaki is collaburated with Bajaj Auto and KTM in India. Now, Kawasaki and Bajaj spliting due to inconvenience caused with all existing Kawasaki motorcycle owners. With the partnership speculated to end next month. Though it is not clear yet, why they are spliting up, it could be possible that Kawasaki is equipped enough to handle their own sales and service outlets.
Bajaj’s dealerships are neither selling Kawasaki branded motorcycles nor are they servicing them.
In fact, Kawasaki motorcycles has already started taking care of After sales and service of their CBU (Complete Build-up Unit ) products in India. Soon they will also start taking care of the CKD (complete knock-down)models in the line-up.
The split will not affect Kawasaki’s use of the Bajaj’s Akurdi plant for assembly of Kawasaki motorcycles upto 650cc displacement motorcycles.
