Honda MSI has identified a suspected quality issue in the Front Brake Master Cylinder which may cause difficulty in the rotation of the front wheel. That could result in wheel jam in an extreme situation. The motorcycle and scooter which are manufactured between February 4, 2019 – July 3, 2019. This recall has been issued for CBS disc brake variants.
Honda India will replace the suspected part, if required, on Free of Cost basis. There’s no warranty limitation on the service. Honda has recalled over 50,034 two-wheelers in India over malfunctioning of the front brake master cylinder. These recall has affected Honda Activa 125, Grazia, Aviator and the CB Shine.
The affected customers will be contacted via call/SMS. Customers are requested to take a motorcycle to the service station for inspection. This recall will be fixed for free if there is any suspected problem upon inspection irrespective to the affected vehicle’s warranty status.
