Bosch Group Limited inaugurated its first company owned Car Service Centre here in Bangalore on January 19, and announced that it plans to add 700 more such centres under the operation of a service model in the next five years. The centre was inaugurated by Soumitra Bhattacharya, president, Bosch Group India. The service centre will provide high-quality services with state-of-the-art equipment for multi-brand cars.
The Company Owned Company Operated (Coco) Bosch Car Service Centre addresses the need created by increasing customer demand, systems and technological products, growing pre-owned car sales and a large car penetration coming out of the warranty period. The service centre is situated at Electronic City Phase-2; NH-7 is spread across 20,000 sq feet, with 14 service bays.
14 service bays, state-of-the-art equipment:
Bosch equipment’s such as Wheel Aligner and Balancer, Tyre Changer, Nitrogen Tyre Inflator, KTS (ESI software with ECU diagnostic scanner) for vehicle diagnosis and troubleshooting, 2-Post and 4-Pole Lifts, AC Service Machine (AC diagnostics and service), Headlight aligner, automated car wash, accident repair facility with latest Collision Repair System with painting and detailing, Routine Maintenance, ECU Diagnostics, Brake Service, Clutch Overhaul and Suspension System.
There are 35 employees currently working at the workstation. The company also plans to offer value-added services like 24×7 Road Side Assistance, Certification and Extended Warranty, Easy EMI payments, Pre-owned Car Inspection and much more.
Water conservation is also a top priority at the new car service centre. The centre is also equipped with an in-house training centre offering training programs on various Bosch and non-Bosch products and technology. The training centre is open for technicians, visitors and customers.
