Bajaj Urbanite Scooter spotted testing again

Bajaj Auto is in fast phase to launch a new series of electric vehicles under the Bajaj Urbanite brand name. some interesting design details such as the tail section, with smooth-flowing side panels and a single-piece grab rail with a slightly thick centre portion which is likely to act as a pillion backrest. The Bajaj has taken styling cues from its Chetak scooter.

The Urbanite features retro-inspired, curvy bodywork and a round headlamp with LED DRLs. The exhaust canister isn’t visible but the Urbanite test mule might be powered by an internal combustion engine. However, Bajaj is also expected to introduce electric-powered scooters soon.

Bajaj Urbanite Look & features:

The Bajaj Urbanite gets a trail-link, single-sided front suspension ( similar suspension setup like Vespa scooters), and a rear mono-shock. The scooter gets Front disc brake expected to get CBS and runs on 12-inch alloy wheels. The Bajaj Urbanite gets back-lit switches like pulsar bikes, all-digital instrument console and LED lighting for the headlamp and tail lamp.

Bajaj will launch the new scooter during the festive season to boost-up the market. To make statement strong lot of prototypes are likely to be production-ready camouflaged models have been spotted on test on public roads.
