Ather Energy, a Bangalore-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer has launched– the 340 and the 450. Now the company is looking to make more affordable scooter below Rs 1 Lakh price tag.
This upcoming electric scooter won’t compete with the entry-level electric scooters in India. The scooter is expected to have the same performance as the Ather 340 and to be priced below -Rs 1 lakh. The current electric scooters will offer with lesser features like the touchscreen instrument cluster and dual disc brakes will be ditched to have a note on price tag. The company will not compromise on the performance of the scooter.
