The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 twins were launched last year and now spotted testing for BS-VI
An uncamouflaged Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 has been spotted with red license plates, pictures were captured by automotive enthusiast Ram Shankar. Royal Enfield test rider confirmed that the RE 650 test mule was the BS-VI / BS6 version.
The spy photo of 2020 Royal Enfield 650 BS-VI /BS6, there are no noticeable visual changes except a slight extrusion of the exhaust tip and a body-colored pillion cowl.
2020 Royal Enfield 650 BS-VI Specifications:
The 648 cc twin-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine powered 47 bhp and 52 Nm of torque. The engine is mated 6-speed gearbox. Royal Enfield is currently in the process of updating its entire portfolio to BS-VI emission standards which are set to kick in from 1st April 2020.
The 2020 Royal Enfield 350 lineup is getting updated BS-VI by a new modular J platform which includes improved frame, new engine and transmission, additional features, and noticeable change in styling.
The new range of Royal Enfield motorcycles will be ready with BS-VI by 1 st April 2020.
