2017 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 with ABS Launched in India at INR 1.08 lakh

The new 2017 version of Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is now launched with an additional key feature of single-channel ABS (anti-lock brake system) which was found in Pulsar RS 200 and Suzuki Gixxer SF also. A single channel ABS works only on the front brake. The reason behind the single channel ABS is the reduction of costs according to the budgets. This feature improves safety under hard braking but remains less superior than dual channel.
As per the order passed by the government from April 2018 every bike launched should be ABS/CBS (combined braking system). ABS constantly monitor wheel speed and regulates braking pressure by relaxing braking in minute amounts under hard braking so that wheels won’t lock-up. The reason behind its design is to avoid skids during emergency brakes usually on wet roads.
Even though the company has not given any official announcement bookings has already been started at the price INR 1.08 lakh(ex-showroom, Delhi).

The new price is increased around INR 12,000 over non-ABS version’s price.
